Twists, turns, thrills and spills, director Saurabh Varma’s new-age investigative thriller, 7 Hours to Go, will keep you guessing from start to end with its edge-of the-seat plot revolving around a hostage situation. The gritty film promises “loads of high octane action performed in real locations in Mumbai and Pune.”

In the city to promote their film, Saurabh Varma, along with his film cast, actors Shiv Pandit and Sandeepa Dhar were out interacting with people at Odeon Mall and garnering interest for their film.

Shiv Pandit who was last seen in Boss thanked Varma for believing in him and offering him the right role. “Big actors are booked by the big production houses. They will make a film with either, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan or some other big name of the industry. I really feel lucky that Saurabh at least saw the talent in me. There should be more directors like him,” he said.

Sandeepa Dhar who is playing a cop in the movie, had much to say about her action sequences. “I had to take martial arts training for this role. We have neither taken any help of body doubles nor the harnesses for the action sequences in the film.”

Produced by Krian Pictures, 7 Hours to Go has an ensemble cast with Shiv Pandit, Varun Badola, Sandeepa Dhar, Natasa Stankovic, Himanshu Malik, RJ Ketan Singh and RJ Rohit Veer playing pivotal roles. The film releases on June 24.

The film apart from delivering high octane bold scenes will also make you experience the paranormal activities. Recently in the Capital for the promotion of the film actor Johnny Baweja when asked if he ever came across demonic activity, said “I believe in spirits otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to do justice to the character.”

Reeth Mazumder, who is essaying a bold image in the film, is confident about playing a convincing role. Asked if she would carry forward her bold avatar beyond this film, she said, “I don’t find anything wrong in playing a bold character. I am an actress and I have to portray different roles. Talking about the image, I have a few films lined up which have nothing bold in it.”

The film, written by Ishaan Trivedi, hits the screens on June 24.
