Female frenzy in Goa

Friendship is all about talking nonsense any time of the day and night.

An only girls’ trip is probably in every woman’s wish list. It automatically translates into zero responsibility. At least for few days your role as a mother, wife and daughter-in-law is deleted from your daily routine and you get to pamper yourself.

I was desperately looking for such an opportunity and when it came in the form of an invitation to attend a friend’s 50^th birthday, I grabbed it and lost no time in booking my ticket.

The big party and stay had been planned near Candolim beach. It is considered one of the best in Goa due to its cleanliness and the kind of crowd it attracts. The beach was a walking distance from our hotel, Country Inn and Suites.

We were met at the airport by a representative of Jasper Trips, the travel company that has amazing packages to Bhutan among other places, had made all our travel plans and bookings. The car that was sent to pick us up was stocked with bottled water and juices. The agency took care of every small need and detail, whether it was the day trip to Panjim or night out at the Love Passion Karma (LPK) waterfront.

Relaxing on the beach watching the symphony of water is very relaxing.

A dip in the pool, long walks on the beach, partying all night with friends was very relaxing and refreshing. For a party I would choose the LPK waterfront any time. Classy and awesome are the only apt words to describe it. Everything, right from the food, music and ambience is perfect. Plus it comes with the perks of a free entry and free drinks for women. The highlight of the trip was a visit to Thalassa Goa restaurant in Vagator. It is a Greek restaurant with a scenic view of the coast.

Talking to friends for hours is the best therapy. Relaxing on the beach watching the symphony of water, getting a foot massage done and midnight talking sessions helped us in rejuvenation. After all friendship is the ability to talk nonsense any time of the day and night and not only about seeing new places. In fact the people we travel with make an impact in your life in unimaginable ways.

I strongly believe that the right break only comes with the right company.
